I guess we will see how far we get. She usually cries in her car seat anyway so it isnt as though she is happily napping away while i shop or anything!!

We hit the height limit on my mom's infant seat (we use a convertible at home) at five months. On our last visit she had to get one with a 32" limit.
I really prefer the convertible though.

Our LO is tall (always been in 90ish percentile) and was still able to be in her infant seat until 8 months (our limit was 30").

Our LO is tall too, with a long torso--he's been in the 80something percentile since birth. We switched him at 7 months. Most kids outgrow infant seats by height way before they reach the weight limit!

At the rec of the local car seat expert, we just moved the straps on our infant seat to the highest spot. She had such a long torso. She is 7 weeks and 24" long, 10.5 lbs. wearing 3 month shirts and onesies but newborn pants due to a long torso and short legs.

When did your LO grow out of their infant seat? Mine says 29"/22 lbs-- but her torso is so long that I wonder if we're going to be shopping convertible seats before the end of the year!
