Fits only behind super short me in our 2012 Prius C. We still took the c on our 1500 mile international road trip and just switched him whenever we switched drivers so he was always behind me.m Also we don't use the base, just strap the seat in every time.</p> <p>ETA: Oops, mine is a convertable car seat (Gracco snugride). The Prius is very roomy. It's so much fun to drive and soooo cheap! My Highlander was a hybrid too, but still didn't get very good gas mileage! I'm glad to hear you aren't having any trouble with seats. The other thing I'm worried about is squeezing my stepson (3 and still in a booster) back there with my 8 yo (who's out of a booster) and an infant!
