Thanks everyone!!! Looks like I will just have to ride this out until her stuffiness goes away....hopefully soon! I will try not feeding every time she wakes and see if just rocking will calm her down....I'm just worried she will get used to those feelings and wake up every night or them even after this passes

LO wakes up all the time when she's congested. Since we co-sleep, I can hear that she's having trouble breathing through her nose and then gets annoyed when she has to breathe through her mouth.

We run our cold mist humidifier, slather her in Baby Vicks, use saline spray and sleep with her propped up. I don't feed her every time she wakes up unless she is really cranky.

When DS had a stuffy nose, we couldn't get him to sleep in his crib for more than 30 minutes. The car seat didn't work either. The only thing we could do was sleep with him on our chests in the recliner. At first I was nursing him every time he woke up, but then I realized sometimes he just needed to calm down again.

I remember reading somewhere that baby stuffiness increases at night. Using a humidifier definitely helped us.

Poor LO and poor Momma! Our LO had a tough time sleeping with a bad cold. We use the nose frida to remove, saline solution, vicks on her feet and onsie, and then also we use the warm mist humidifior from vicks with the tabs in them. We never had any changes in feeding. Sorry I don't have much more to offer than moral support.

When your LO has a stuffy/congested nose did they wake up more at night? My poor baby has a stuffy nose but no fever, so we have been using saline drops and the aspirator as well as a humidifier and she already sleeps on an incline due to reflux....she goes to bed around 7/8 and has been waking up a lot more after her 1230/1am feeding...sometimes like 5 times after that until she is up for the day! Poor thing is congested and mama is tired!!! I thought this was a wonder week/growth spurt thing but for the past 2 days she has been her normal self during the day...it is only the late night/early morning that seems to be making her wake up and feed more frequently...

Is there anything I can do to help her? Should I be nursing her when she wakes? She seems hungry but I don't want to set a pattern and for this to be her new schedule!! I currently nurse her then put her back down but she's up 30 mins later!
