We'll actually end up at 6 weeks + a day. We got slowed down and back-tracked a bit by a nasty ear infection in week 3. But today he did summer clothes and tomorrow he goes in in a winter coat. He did regular swim lessons last year, and got no where. I loved the 5 days a week/10 minutes schedule for him, though it was a large time commitment for me. I know lots of people who have put their infants into the program and had little fish by the time they hit 2 years old. Lessons are 5 days a week, 10 minutes a lesson for 6-8 weeks. And you will likely need at least annual refresher lessons (for a week) unless you take weekly refresher lessons (I know many people that do this). </p> <p>In our area, there are several swim programs that teach "rescue swim lessons" which are similar to ISR.
