It's lightweight and relatively easy to put together. It's a metal frame and has a relatively plush mattress (for a travel crib). Not worth it. And every airline we have flown on has specified that a pnp does not get checked for free, only car seat or strollers do. (We have flown delta and jet blue). </p> <p>Are these relatives you would visit a few times? You can have a basic pnp delivered by Amazon for about $40 and just leave it there. Like no baby would REALLY be comfy in that thing. It is cheap and dinky, like barely any padding...You could just save your money and put a blanket on the floor. Bless his heart, he just got confused, but as soon as we popped it open, we were both like, "I can't believe they really sell this as a travel crib for a baby!"
