We use the FP whale tub with DD, i use a detachable shower head (i got form a beauty supply store for like $5) and attach it to the kitchen sink and she just splashes around in it.

We have the Primo bath seat... I think it was like $13 on diapers.com?
DS loves it :) We only put a couple of inches of water in the tub.

We put LO straight into a full size tub when she outgrew her puj tub. We put a nonslip bath mat down so that she doesn't slip (like this one http://www.bedbathandbeyond.com/product.asp?SKU=11915450). We tried an inflatable tub first, but LO kept trying to crawl out of it. We don't put a ton of water in the tub, so I really don't feel like we're wasting water.

I guess my qualm with going directly to the big tub is...well, if you did, do you feel like you're wasting water?

We skipped straight to the big tub. For a long time I would take baths with DD (and I still do actually). I felt more comfortable being in the tub with her, but now she does fine in the tub all by herself. Of course I'm always right there with a hand on her, but she does great!

We briefly used the inflatable munchkin duck tub between using his infant tub and the regular tub. It worked well, we just didn't use it for long.

We used C's infant whale tub until she was old enough to sit up steady on her own and then we just plopped her in our regular tub. Didn't see the point in buying another seat or tub.

First we used Spa Baby European bath (least water: loved this thing!) and then when he could sit up we used the Munchkin Duckie inflatable bath. I loved it but then my cat attacked it one night, so then we just made LO learn to love the 'big bath'.

Oh, I see its out of stock online. It was available in our local store, I just bought it last week. I figured it was cheap enough to tide us over the few months until he is steady enough for the big tub

Once she got over wanting to tub spa style (laying back in her whale tub) she just sits in our tub no seat. She likes being able to crawl around and chase her toys.

We bathed DD in the kitchen sink until about 1yo, when she got active enough for me to think she could jump out. When she was a newborn we used a Puj tub. The transition to the big tub was a little tough but now she loves baths. It was nice not to have a big baby tub in our bathroom, which is small.

We had a bath seat because I thought it would be easier to put away when we needed that bathroom for guests. I ended up not liking it though. I only set him in it while I filled the tub and then let him sit in the tub. I had to always keep a hold of him then, so he wouldn't reach for something and slip. I just bought an inflatable tub and I love it. He can sit in it safely, move easily to grab toys and likes to bang on the edges. After awhile the bath seat started to smell too, we were washing it a few times a week.

We have a bath seat for when she is old enough to sit up...it just seems easier for storage, since we have a small apartment.

So we have a tub that in theory he'd be able to use until he was a toddler, but it needs constant cleaning (like after every bath) because if I skip a day it gets gunk in the edges, and has a...I don't know what to call it...one half of it is like half an inch higher than the other half, because of the way it folds up for storage.

Anyway, I was thinking about getting him a bath seat, but then saw the inflatable tubs and thought that might be a better way to go...using less water and all.

What do you use for your LO? Would you recommend it?
