That way if something emergent happens and they have to call 911, they can have the address available. Other than that, we aren't usually that far away, so I would expect the sitter to contact me if it's just a question/something urgent. It's not super helpful. And our doctor only works three days of the week, and not typically at night when you'd have a sitter.
