He's very good at what he does, and he tells me the place is usually packed and rocking. McMinnville is a great day trip. Breweries wineries and food.</p> <p>As far as Art/Culture- the Japanese Gardens are world famous, the Art Museum is very good, the Chinese Garden is a faster visit but still wonderful. Tom McCall waterfront park is a great walk. There’s lots of hiking.</p> <p>IMO- Portland is more hipster while Seattle is more cosmopolitan. Seattle feels very clean and glamorous in comparison when I’m up there. No dig at all for Portland.
