I thought I would update this for anyone who has been interested! I did the fit test today. I was exhausted from a bad night's sleep and felt off so my fit test results weren't great.

BUT my measurements were good. Since starting Insanity (it's been almost three months because I've had to take random times off but still), I've lost 9 lb, 1.4% body fat, and about 15 inches. I still have a couple of weeks to go to complete the program and I intend to do the second month again. I wish I could find the sheet where I measured myself in February to update the total inches I've lost with 30DS, Ripped in 30, and Insanity. I'm down 15 lb since April though.

I just started the first day of the second month (I know, it's taken me much longer to get to this point then it should have). I've started taking what I eat more seriously for about a week now and I've lost 4-5 lb over the past week. That adds up to about 12 lb since April. I know it's taken a while but now I feel like it's starting to fall off faster, plus I was building up lean muscle at the same time as losing fat! I'm over 25% to my goal of 40 lb to lose!

@blackbird: I meant to update this a few days ago!

Due to sleep problems with LO and various sicknesses in our house, it's taken me a month to do 16 days of insanity. However, I've seen good results without doing it regularly or eating as well as I should.

I've lost 2.4 lb, 0.7% body fat, and 7 inches overall. So I'm happy and I hope to get into it more seriously and lose a lot more!

I did the Pure Cardio workout for the first time today and almost died! I'm taking my rest day tomorrow instead of Sunday since my MIL will be here.

Also, I'm sore and feel more in shape already even though today was only day 5. I've lost like half a pound and half an inch on my waist, although that may be from water weight.

@MrsBrewer: Well I can barely walk for 5 minutes without getting winded before I started. I really think anyone can start it. The programs not about doing the WHOLE routine nonstop. It's about going 100% on your level, whether that's 1 push up and jumping jack, or 50. As long as you're pushing yourself you will get results, and quickly.

The creator of the program actually said himself that he can't get through any of the workouts without stopping.

@MrsBrewer: I think the first 30 days are around 45-60 mins? He told me day 31 was 30 minutes of the fitness test then another straight hour of non stop! And they move fast! You might get like 30-60 seconds of a water break every 20 minutes or so. But I've only watched him do it a few times on the weekends. ;)

@MrsBrewer: YES. I tried to do it and I am fairly out of shape and I couldn't. I thought I would die. Its definitely not something I would recommend to a beginner.

@MrsBrewer: From watching my DH do it, I say yes! He's pretty fit, jogs, lifts weights etc. And when he's doing it he is literally pouring sweat. The first 30 days are insane and that's the easy part! He was day 32 yesterday and I've never seen him in so much pain! hahah A lot of people he talks to quit around 45 bc they got too "busy". ;)

DH is on day 33 I think and it's a killer! He's actually not losing any weight bc I think he's gaining it all back in muscle. But he doesn't really have fat to begin with.

I did insanity for a while and loved it!!
I didn't finish a full circuit but the amount of strength and physical endurance I gained in that short time was out of this world.

My husband has done 2 complete circuits and lost 45 pounds. His endurance and strength have tripled. It's an amazing program! Keep up the hard work!

I know at least one other person was interested in a thread for those doing Insanity so I thought I'd start one.

I finished day 2 today so I'm not too far in. It was definitely super intense but as I told DH, I didn't die and I did almost everything (there were a few moves where I had to take breaks). And I loved how I felt afterward so hopefully I can keep going and see great results!
