I had a hard time sleeping when I was working a ton and drinking 1-2 cups of coffee a day. On the advice of my doctor (unrelated to trouble sleeping) I cut out all caffeine and after a few weeks I noticed I was sleeping so much better. Not sure if you drink caffeine but that's what worked for me. I know during pregnancy I had insomnia for a bit...I would lay awake in bed after waking up to go pee and just have a million thoughts going through my head making it impossible to fall back asleep

It used to take me a looong time to fall asleep, but now pregnancy has brought on full insomnia. It's horrible. Last week I think there were 3 days in a row that I got less than 4 hours of sleep a night. Taking unisom helps, but I don't want to do it all the time. I've been taking naps to compensate, but when school starts back next week, that's not going to be an option (if I take a late nap, it just makes nighttime sleeping even worse). Andddd here I am, at 2am, watching my husband sleep peacefully while I'm wide awake :(

Who has it? How do you combat it? For the past three nights, I've gotten 4-5 hours of sleep and then been up for the day. I fell asleep at 8 last night and I'm pretty sure I'm up for good now at 1am. Again. :-(
