Teaching other teachers gives me hives haha.</p> <p>In our district, we are big on the 4 PLC questions, data driven plans, calendared "curriculum maps", RTI, and restorative justice / behavioral skills instruction.</p> <p>In the last interview I did, for "teacher of the year," they asked me why I chose my district and why I chose to teach in a Title 1 / a low income area.. That was my most surprising question. I love the role. Our district is really big on 5-6 week coaching cycles where we are co-teaching, co-assessing, co-planning, etc. It takes a while to build the relationships and develop the level of trust necessary to facilitate a true coaching cycle.
