There were only a few durable medical equipment companies from which I could order it. I randomly picked one and the pump arrived 2 days later. I was able to order it 1 month prior to my due date. They contacted my doctor's office and did everything. I'm not really sure what they will cover, and they won't send it until I have the baby or right before, plus she was actually just reading me off phone numbers, rather than just sending me a list. I am going to call again closer to my due date in hopes that they have sorted it out. </p> <p>They will at the very least cover a manual, though of the names she gave me, none carry that. I have a hand me down double electric from my sister, but of course, I'd rather a new one. My experience wasn't very easy, but I did get my pump in the mail on Tuesday free of charge! The most frustrating part was finding a durable good provider that was in-network, but once I did, it was a very simple process. I have BCBS and they fully cover pumps! It's pretty easy to do... for my insurance, they sent me a list of medical supply places in the area where I can bring a prescription from my OB for the pump. The only thing is you can't pick up the pump until the baby is born. But you can go in ahead of time with the prescription and your health insurance info so you are ready to go once the baby is here, someone can even pick it up for you. It's worth looking into! </p>
