We have 2 baby alive dolls and I hate them. We have the one that pees and crawls and the one that eats. The one that eats is a bit better but the active one is so annoying. And DD always wants me to change the diaper or change the clothes so its like I have another baby, lol. And neither kept her attention very long. The baby that has always gotten the most love was from Target and she has a special bottle she pretend drinks from and "falls asleep" she has a couple little thing she says but not super loud. We have had it for a few years and it is always her go to. I think this is their newer versionhttps://www.target.com/p/honestly-cute-feed-my-baby-caucasian/-/A-50681337?ref=tgt_adv_XS000000&AFID=google_pla_df&CPNG=PLA_Toys+Shopping&adgroup=SC_Toys&LID=700000001170770pgs&network=g&device=c&location=1015116&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIr5PT9NT-3QIVjlmGCh0aJg2AEAQYASABEgJS8vD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds

@PinkElephant: Same, our soft baby dolls never gets played with, both my girls rather play with one of the plastic/hard ones from the Target line (now called Honestly Cute).

@wrkbrk: Thanks! That one is pretty cute (I was searching Baby Alive earlier, and some of them are soooo creepy. The swimming one?! EEK! Since it's for my own kid, I'm not too bothered by the packaging. I sometimes think boxes actually confuse little ones, and I'm all about not having to cut a million plastic ties. And OMG, DD is talking about "wee wee" all the time now, and I'm SO NOT READY to encourage potty training just as winter sets in, hahaha.

@Silva: @misolee: @agold: @kayla0416: I'm kind of surprised by all the Baby Stella love! All three of my girls had some sort of "soft doll" for their first Christmas or Birthday, and no one has shown any interest at all. I think they're cute, but they definitely haven't been a hit in our house. DD3 currently lugs around DD2's 16 or 18 inch Water Baby (which is hilarious since it's not that much smaller than her!)....so I think the real-er, the better in her case.

@agold: Thanks! Are the sounds crazy annoying, or not that bad? :)

@PinkElephant: We for DS that baby alive that was popular last Christmas that cried tears at her check up. It’s absolutrly adorable and even I like playing with it haha. I got it on prime but be aware that mine didn’t come in normal toy store packaging which was annnoying (I’m sure it was disclosed somewhere that I didn’t notice...)

Just as an FYI Amazon sells those Manhattan Baby Stellas, as well as accessories (like PJs, Doll Diaper Bags, "feeding" kits).

Another vote for the baby Stella doll from manhattan. We got one for our two year old boy (his sister was born a month after he turned two) and he loved it. Even my then 5 year old played with it. I liked those options bc all the other plastic dolls creep me out

for a two year old, I wonder if the baby stella doll from manhattan toy would be enough "doing something?" It has a magnetic pacifier.

Does anyone have an interactive baby doll that they like for a young toddler who is baby doll obsessed? I don't need any terribly specific features, just looking for a doll that "does something" - I've seen the Giggly Wiggly Waterbabies that squeak, a Walmart doll that sucks a pacifier, a few at Toys R Us (this was awhile ago) - my main requirements are that it be cute, not crazy annoying, and that it is not super hard plastic (Target had a kicking doll whose legs felt like they'd shatter if dropped). I've seen a lot of things, so I'm really just wondering what might have been a hit with your LO!

Bonus points if it is somewhere like Target, Walmart, or Amazon with 2-day shipping, because DD3's birthday is Monday and her sisters just decided they want to buy this for her. :silly:

I don't need a full-on Loveabella doll that is huge or $$$$, because it's for a soon-to-be two year old, and she's very small for her age (think more the size of a 12 or 15 month old) - but if you have one and your child thinks it's just fantastic, I'm open to it.

Thank you!! :)
