My husband will be staying home with our DD until she turns a year in April. For all kind of reasons, financial and otherwise, this set up works for our family. Only read the first half but as someone who is the current breadwinner in the family and with DH being an artist, we kinda knew before we got married that DH said he would love to be a SAHD. I definitely don't make the money the wife makes in the article but at this moment we should be comfortable with my income.
