The interview is in the morning; we had some scheduling conflicts today. Like I said, I'm nervous, but I'm excited too. My mom mentioned today actually going before Congress if this possible ban moves forward. I can't even imagine. ETA- To be clearer, I don't really see that ever happening. I don't even know how that happens. I never realized what the process entailed, or how hard it was to get one for legitimate medical reasons. I can't imagine what you went through. I think it's important for the general public to have this information and have a story like yours to contextualize what actually happens. Many never think of the person in your situation when they vote for laws that severely restrict the procedure or what you as a mother had to endure emotionally and physically with the procedure.
