I went ahead and bought two nice nursing bras at the end of my pregnancy. I was a 32f prepreg, a 34g preg, and I bought a 34h/i. They ended up being the right size, so I ordered a few more at about a month post partum. To me, it was worth it to have something that I could count on to look/feel decent in the early days. Do you have a place near you that specializes in nursing bras? The shop near me was really helpful in guessing what I'd need. Alternately, the tanks are far more flexible, and I really liked Glamourmom's full bust tank. An investment, but less of a gamble since it'll probably for regardless.

I bought a few nursing sleep bras at Motherhood Maternity. They're stretched out now but they worked well for the first two weeks. I still wear them to bed 11.5 months later.

I bought a bravado nursing tank (http://www.amazon.com/Bravado-Essential-Nursing-Tank-BLACK/dp/B000HAQ69C/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1402701040&sr=8-1&keywords=bravado+nursing+tank) for the first few weeks and it worked great. The sizing was flexible enough.

I also bought two of these on ebay new without tags for $10 each, and at 10 months PP I still use them at night even though they are big now. They were a lifesaver at first.

I was about the same size you are.

I've searched the boards and seen some previous threads on nursing bras for large chests - but I'm wondering specifically what those of you who are, ahem, "blessed" in that area wore immediately postpartum for a few weeks until your milk comes in.

I keep hearing that I shouldn't buy nursing bras until I know what size I'm going to be, but I need something to wear for the first few weeks. And I don't want to spend a lot of money on something that may not fit pretty soon after. Problem is, all the cheapo, stretchy nursing bras you find at Target or wherever come nowhere close to fitting - even the XL size barely covers half my boobs and provides zero support.

Any suggestions?

ETA: I was a 34G pre-pregnancy and while I haven't been measured since, I know they're definitely bigger now... so that's the kind of size I am talking about!
