She was just out of design school looking to build a portfolio. She charged me $99 for 10 hours and after that $65/ hour. Having a designer didn't ease the design process for me, but she had some great ideas.</p> <p>I think the in-store design services can be great if you have a piece of furniture you were already planning to buy. I have used Bassett and Haverty's services. Go with PB?<br /> Go with local person? (Is $200 a good price??) </p>
