<description>&#60;p&#62;DH and I are tossing around the idea of taking LO to Asia (Japan, Hong Kong, Taiwan...) when she turns one in December. As much as I would LOVE to go, I'm on the fence because I wonder if it's better to take her when she's a bit older so she can enjoy it more? I mean she could care less about eating, shopping and sightseeing at this age. So perhaps a domestic beachy vacation, like Hawaii, would be better so she could play in the water and it will be more relaxing for ALL of us? I'm also worried because my friend took her 1.5 year old DS to Asia and she said it was pure hell because he did not get adjusted to the time change and would sleep all day and be awake at night. How old was your LO when you traveled international? How did you deal with time change?
