I had to look up NAK... It's "nursing at keyboard", sort of a "forgive any typos" one I think.

Oh, so many!

IIRC - if I recall correctly
NTTAWWT - not that there's anything wrong with that (why is there an acronym for this?! has anyone else seen this?)
SMH - shaking my head
OML - oh my lord (I think?)

are the main ones I always get stuck on. There's probably more, but I can't remember them now...

YMMV means "Your mileage my vary". It sort of means, "you may have a different opinion" or acts as an acknowledgement that personal taste plays a role in ones opinion.

On WB, brides have been using the word 'This' in response to something that was said. I never understood it. This what? What does 'This' mean?

Example:

UserXYZ: Christmas is awesome!

UserABC: @UserXYZ: This!

I had to use urban dictionary to look it up. It means 'I agree.'

Yeah, I don't get it.

I used to work with teens, and even though I'm in my 20s, I basically had to ask one of the kids to translate entire conversations for me, it was crazy how speech has changed in 10 years!

Wow I'de never heard of BTDT... people are always making up new acronyms.. its hard to keep up. I still remember being a teenager and not knowing what LOL stood for and someone told me it stood for lots of love so I couldnt understand why people would keep using in randomly in sentences!!
It took me a while to figure out what it really meant!

I know theres one related to POAS but isn't that exactly. I really suck with acronyms I wish people would actually spell it out!

I only recently (this week) learned that BTDT = Been There, Done That. You can use it as an adjective too.

"Any BTDT parents have insights into sleeptraining?"

(At least, I think so. When it comes to using BTDT in a sentence, I haven't BT or DT.)

Do you have any internet acronyms that you've only recently learned? Would love to hear them!
