Are you referring to introducing dairy directly to your LO, or you are nursing and drinking it? If the latter, it wouldn't be lactose intolerance, but rather MSPI. Mine had MSPI and I had to eliminate all dairy (and soy) from my diet while I was nursing her. She would have very mucous-y, sometimes bloody poops, which was the most obvious symptom. She was also very fussy and had a difficult time sleeping as a newborn, although it's hard to know if that was MSPI or just her.

I noticed right away because LO 2 had really weird BMs. I drank very little milk when I nursed her so this was when I introduced WCM at 12 months.

If your LO had a sensitivity to cows milk. How soon after introduction did you notice a reaction?

I suspect DD2 might be lactose intolerant because the few times I've had straight dairy she was really fussy and spit up a lot in the day following. At that point she was not a spitter any more.
Dad is lactose intolerant and so is big sister and my brother so there's a good chance! I had some milk on Sunday and Monday. And so far she doesn't seem particularly fussy. But she did spit up a ton this morning but not sure if it's from overeating?
