Thanks for the tips. I'm going to try implementing a quiet time for my toddler, so I can get some time to recharge during the day. I think it would be good for him too

I go to bed late. I need an hour after the kids are in bed just to enjoy the quiet. If one of them doesn't go to bed on time, I'm not a happy camper. DH and the kids don't make me want to hide and be alone as much as other people, but I still need a break!

If they are not napping then they are still required to stay in bed quietly for an hour or so. If nap time is short or I am busy doing something else during that time and I still just need a break I will put the tv on for a little bit in the afternoon. Plus it gets easier when they are out of the baby stage. My younger DS is 1.5 and now will play with my older DS for a while so I can just zone out for a bit.

Mandatory quiet time in place of nap. We also work on independent play. I try to involve my toddler in a task for a portion of it then send him to play while I work alone for a bit.

Introverted moms with two or more kids - how do you handle it? I'm a stay at home mom of a 4 month old and a 2.5 year old, and I feel like they need me all day long. My 2.5 year old constantly wants to play and interact with me. I used to get a break from him during his afternoon nap, but he recently stopped napping, and now I feel emotionally exhausted by the end of each day. There was a time I wanted 3 kids, but now I'm beginning to think three kids would be too much interaction for me to handle all day long. Does anyone else feel this way? Any tips?
