The church one seems like they just invite everyone, like a big group invitation almost, so if I got both invites, I would just choose the one that I wanted to go to. But were very close. I'd me more offended not getting invited to both. I gave gifts at both and she seemed very surprised that I brought one to the second because I already gave her something. We didn't have any input on the guest list - all other church staff were automatically invited - and I feel awful that some people were invited to both. I definitely don't want anyone to feel obligated to give us two gifts! I also don't want to seem gift grabby. </p> <p>I had no idea we were even going to have another shower til yesterday. It was going to be a surprise, but they decided to tell us to make sure the dates worked and the invitations have already gone out. My friends from our Sunday school class are throwing me a freezer meal shower as well, but they're my nearest and dearest so I'm not worried about that one.</p> <p>Has this ever happened to you? Or have you been on the guest list for two showers? I am so thankful for them but embarrassed some people were included twice :) </p>
