I feel like since they don't have real friends at this age, it's not worth it. If I got an invite to a birthday party for one of the kids at her daycare, I'd feel weird about it. We never hung out when our kids were little, but we've started to do playdates in the last 5 months or so, and we've gotten very friendly with the other parents. I noticed today that there's a little girl that M is really close with. The teachers are always telling us stories of the two of them. And today when daddy put her down the two of them immediately crawled to each other and did this cheek to cheek hugging thing. It was SO sweet! </p>
