When I bought my first house, he said he nearly got the seller's lawyer disbarred because they made so many mistakes in the paperwork. Here there is only 1 lawyer to close the sale and it is paid by whoever pays closing costs (negotiated during sale). Where I live both parties hire lawyers. </p>
