I think it's easier to drag around and for us, there isn't a need to have the iPad standing straight up. Whenever DD uses it, she's clicking away. It was a life saver for our Thanksgiving trip. H slept in it for hours and hours during an 8 hour car ride. It was higher too so she loved looking out the window. My DH is researching iPad accessories for her right now. He is a tech junkie and wants to get her one of her own because she keeps grabbing ours when we use it. Also to store some YGG episodes for when we are gone.</p> <p>I now need to get some things to prep it for the first road trip. Would appreciate some suggestions/reviews!</p> <p>1. Childproof/protective cover. I always see the Speck one with handles. Seems sturdy? Maybe something like an otterbox for tablets? If she gets her hands on it at anytime I want it to be very protective since she is in a lean on everything, stand on everything phase. </p> <p>2. iPad holder for backseat. Especially if backseat does not have headrest (center seat doesn't). I don't want it to possibly fall on her and a lot of them seem like two little arms that barely secure the iPad? And I'm not crafty enough to sew a DIY version. </p> <p>Anything else you can think of? Thanks! </p>
