We opened them early and I've been enjoying it for about a week. I own an iPhone 4S and have an original iPad and iPad 2 owned by my school that I use only at work. I'm a teacher and we use them for some of our assessments.</p> <p>We love our minis. They are very lightweight and I think they're a good size. Not too big and not too small. I can use both hands to type while holding it. I think the original iPad is too heavy and bulky. I think the mini is perfect for me even though I do have an iPhone. I use apps and the Internet on my phone while out and about but use the mini while at home because it's only wifi. </p> <p>I could see how having an a bigger iPad and a mini would be impractical but I love my mini and have no intentions on upgrading to anything bigger. One big reason I never bought an iPad before because of the price. The mini, while expensive, is more affordable to me. I think I'd leave my iPad at home by the couch or bed for home use and carry the mini in my purse. It's so light and easy to hold/use with one hand, but so much easier to do most tasks than the iPhone. We'll use the iPad, but I don't think we would want a mini. We have a Kindle Fire that we got as a gift, but we don't like the size.
