I have the 4 now and I love it. I really want siri so that's why I want the 4S. Plus it's only $100. I paid $200 for my iphone 4 back in the day but I don't think I'll pay $200 for a phone ever again. Cell phone companies don't usually insure iphones so if I were to break it or drop it in water, I would have to pay for a whole new phone again and at an out of contract price. I'm fine with forking over $100 to upgrade but not $200 or more. The new features are great but I'm okay with waiting. </p> <p>I probably will get the iphone 5 but probably not until iphone 6 comes out. I love it, but that's also because i've had an iPhone for years and I can't imagine using any other type of phone... </p> <p>It really depends on your mom and what her needs and preferences are. It's really user friendly, I love the camera, and I love how compact and light it is... I got 64G, so PLENTY of storage!! And we have Sprint and an unlimited plan... I like Siri, the bigger screen, the camera is a little better, it's a LOT faster but I upgraded from the iPhone 3s so it's like night and day between the two phones.
