I am only getting one because I walk around my neighborhood for exsercise. I won't take it everywhere...I mean how much protection will you need going from car to grocery store? It worked perfectly for what I needed it for, which was to keep my December baby warm in transit. We drive most places, so a blanket over DS after he was strapped in, plus one draped over the carseat while we went in and out of the house/car was all we used. If you don't walk outside in the colder months a lot, or you don't live way up north where it gets really bitter cold, you should be just fine without one. </p> <p>If you do get one, make sure to get one that only goes over the car seat. The ones that have a layer that goes between the carseat and the baby are not safe if you are using them while driving. It doesn't get incredibly cold here, but it snows a lot in the winter, so I found that a car seat cover plus a blanket is the best way to keep my baby dry and warm.</p> <p>Fwiw, there are cheaper alternatives to the BundleMe.
