I ended up wearing my regular bikini bottoms with a bigger (D-Cup) top and didn't feel like anyone was scandalized by my choice. I'm vainly excited that I'll now have a nicely bronzed belly for maternity pics and hopefully still for delivery :)</p> <p>I found that bandeau style tops with a tie for support were the most flattering - halter or bra style tops just showed too much cleavage for my liking. To be honest, I think the va va voom pregnant boobs are much more risque than the bump!</p> <p>If we were with family or friends, I might have chosen to be a bit more conservative, but no one we knew other than my husband, daughter, and our nanny saw me anyway. I only wore a bathing suit a few times when pregnant, and the first, I was at the point where people probably thought I was pregnant but also thought I might have had too much to eat and drink the night before, so I felt better in a tankini. The other time I was 36 weeks pregnant and going to the beach with DH's brother and grandmother and I just felt more comfortable with a maternity tankini on.
