Themes can change based on what she’s into. It's proving to also be a nice time for the families in the neighborhood to catch up since we are all trapped indoors and seeing each other less due to Winter. </p> <p>A few highlights:<br /> - Did decorated cookies as favors for the kids, consumable and can't be stepped on later by a parent.<br /> - Co-worker baked and decorated a custom Frozen cake... she only wanted $50 but I gave her $80 because I would have paid $150 anywhere else.<br /> - DD (now 3) loved everyone singing her happy Birthday and blowing out her candles. We had a "no presents please" rule on the invite, and it was frankly awesome. No cleanup, happy tipsy adults, kids full of pizza and gelato.</p> <p>I've asked DD what she wants to do this year and am getting no answers, which is fine - but is it bad if we just repeat last year's party? Adults seemed to appreciate an easy spot in the neighborhood that didn't take up a Saturday, and I loved that it wasn't at my house.</p> <p>How about a rainbow theme instead of Peppa at the same pizza place? Lame? </p>
