DS goes down at 7 and I'm 30 mins from the meeting location so it just doesn't work. They are either during the day for the SAH moms or in the evening right at the time that LO goes to bed. They were either during the day or really far away/inconvenient location. The group serves a large metro area so I'm sure it's hard to make everyone happy. </p> <p>I would still like to join one, but I worry that I won't really fit in. I'm not at all crunchy (I stopped BFing before a year, I'm a CD drop out, we sleep trained, don't make our own baby food, etc). And I think there are plenty of times and places where a stroller is way more helpful and appropriate than trying to wear DS. Plus I don't really care if other people babywear or not. It seems like on the Facebook groups are so WEAR ALL THE BABIES/Down with strollers!!!. So far I've been trying to diversify our meet-ups, and set up different things for moms who have things in common - for example, we have several babies who have special medical considerations, have trach tubes in, etc. I'm setting up a special meeting for them with an occupational therapist in attendance, as well as one of our instructors who can help them learn carries that accommodate their babies medical equipment, like hip carries. I do not know which one, but the meetings are pretty infrequent, so I do not think he has gone yet. He is really not crunchy, but enjoys babywearing.
