Then the camera comes out and the smile disappears as he focuses on it, and the result is a bunch of majorly serious, pensive baby pictures! It's hard to explain to people that she's just NOT cuddly. Sitting beside me leaned up by the corner of the couch like the photo (which I took down since I realized this wasn't a gold post) is pretty much her favourite position. She will also sometimes accept sitting on your lap, facing out.
