She did a lot of consultant work and had contracts with 7 places that she worked at 2 days each month. Thank you. I am very interested in being a lactation counselor or lactation consultant, and there is a lot more opportunity in making the switch if I have a background in nutrition. If I only have an LC designation, the field is pretty limited. I am in school for holistic nutrition. My degree will officially be "Masters of Science in Health and Nutrition Education".
