We stopped birth control close to a year ago, and at first were diligent about pulling out and tracking my cycles to prevent. Now, we don't really worry about where I am in my cycle - mostly because they are irregular so it probably isn't foolproof anyway without charting. We still use the pull-out method but we aren't diligent or super concerned about that either. She didn't go nuts with the temping like me, but she purposely stopped using condoms and the pill so she would hopefully get pregnant. Some people are TTC more formally-- OPKs, charting temps and CM, etc; Some people TTC a little more casually, like let's not use protection and have a bunch of sex and hopefully I'll get knocked up.<br /> NTNP, to me, is sure that would be nice, but we aren't BDing with any goal. We've been doing this since 9 months post partum. I got my period back early, but I don't think I'm fertile because my cycles are crazy wack. I'm really loving not using protection and being low stress about it, but we're already getting to the point where we'd like to get pregnant in the near future. For now we're just going to try and have more sex, and see how that works. It's been almost a year of TTC and I'm tired of "trying". Like other's have said, it's hard to unknow what you've learned about your body. For me it's more about havin sex when we want to, not because it's time, it's sleeping in on the weekend rather than waking up to temp. It's no preseed or OPK. It's being ok with missing ovulation. On the one hand, I'm enjoying the break, but I don't think my body is. After 30 day cycles all year, I'm on track for a 40-day cycle.
