And they're both made by the same company. Actually the label on the bottle is identical (minus the brand name) so I'm just assuming it's some sort of marketing ploy. You could use a free &amp; clear detergent just as easily (though where I live, those cost the same as the Dreft, so cost analysis doesnt come into play.) I wouldnt use a regular detergent because Liv has sensitive skin.. And I do wash EVERYTHING before I put it on her. I even do that with my clothes.
