At first my insurance refused to cover it and Counsyl sent me a bill for $1500. I sent back to them the documentation from the insurance company saying it wasn't covered and Counsyl adjusted my cost to $99. I paid it, and later on my insurance company agreed to cover it. Counsyl sent me a refund check for the $99. I see it mentioned everywhere but their website, so I'm wondering if this is outdated information. My gynecologist suggested CF carrier screening along with any other possible family health issues. I don't know of any and DH and I haven't asked around b/c we're not ready to share our TTC status with family, so it's nice the Counsyl test covers so many diseases. My insurance won't cover the test even though Counsyl is in-network. I'm struggling to get a handle on what our OOP costs would be! </p>
