But more like your babies and the baby at daycare came into contact with the "bug" around the same time and are just now showing the symptoms around the same time. It is usually caused by viruses or bacteria that are transmitted by the fecal oral route. Fast forward a couple hours and now both babies have diarrhea, pooping 3-4 times in a matter of an hour after their feeding. I saw what looks like some specks of blood in one of their diapers during one of the pooping episodes. I recall one of the teachers mentioning to another teacher in the infant room that one of the babies had diarrhea today. </p> <p>Could they have caught it, or whatever virus/bacteria that could cause diarrhea, so quickly from being there, or is this just a coincidence??? </p> <p>Today was already a rough day just taking them there and I didn't even have to leave them yet. I feel sick to my stomach that they possibly already caught something ... :( </p>
