I avoid commenting on things more now than I used to simply because I realized some days I'm just not in the mood to get sucked into an Internet k-hole. And maybe that's what it really boils down to, it's not just Hellobee but all of the Internet can become kind of a black or white world at times where certain groups band together an some people do get ganged up on. In the end it's the safest place usually though and Hellobee is by no means the worst of it. I do have more drama on here about little inconsequential things than I do in my real life but I'm jut not exposed to as many people. I think we are all mature adults but I don't think we all always act that way. And that's totally okay but it does remind me a bit of highschool. I always envisioned "drama" ending with high school, and the reality is that it just doesn't. Whether online or real life, there are always people who sit back and observe, people who jump in head first, people who have a few close friends, people who have a ton of acquaintances. </p> <p>I definitely avoid responding to some users because I just don't feel like putting the effort in. I think there are some users who could benefit from the whole, "x out if you're annoyed" thing, but they don't. I think there are people like that in real life, too, though..so I don't think it's just hellobee.</p> <p>I love it here! I absolutely always avoid the controversial topics, but I am happy to lurk! </p> <p>So yeah - there probably are cliques, I don't know who they are, and I am definitely not in one. But on the whole, this is a great place to visit. I have learned a lot about what to expect as a FTM from reading the posts of others, and my birth month group is a nice group of ladies. I don't see it as "high school," maybe its the term that other Bees are having trouble with. I don't think it's immature, but clique-y? Maybe at times, but I also have to recognize that many women are here have shared their biggest loses and triumphs here...before they even told anyone else.<br /> Due to that, I think people might become more protective and, perhaps, a little more hesitant because they don't share the same history with a newcomer.<br /> I have definitely felt the warmth of the Bees on here, mostly when I had my CP. No one told me to "get over it" or it was only a four week pregnancy or assumed that I was foolish in my excitement.<br /> I feel blessed by that. Anyway, this is long-winded (of course :wink: ) but I think that online forums have their tendencies but this one is special. :happy: </p>
