Absolutely, and I don't even have a child yet. It gives me ideas and springboards for research, it's a wonderful tool.

not actually having the kiddo yet, I can't say that it's changed the way I've parented b/c I haven't had to actively do any parenting. but it has definitely changed the way I've thought about a lot of things & opened my mind up to ideas that I don't know that I would have run across if not for this site. nico & I have also had a lot of discussions about ways to parent & that sort of thing that have come about due to posts on here that I've sent to him. so I definitely think that it's affected the way that we will parent, for the better

Sometimes it makes me feel a bit different ;) But it also is good to see how other parenting styles work in action. The BLW posts recently have made me try and give more finger foods. She gets some anyways but it's a bit frustrating that most of it gets tossed out of her seat or fed to the dogs when she feeds herself but after reading the blog and posts on here we decided self-feeding is probably a good skill for regular practice if I still do heart my purees.

Hellobee has been such a great resource for me! I don't necessarily agree with every opinion (such is life) but I really appreciate the support and suggestions everyone shares. It's really the first place I go when I have a question!

I feel like Artbee does. Liam has been having a tough time with potty training so it's nice to know I am not alone. I should ask for some tips and tricks on that.

I have to say for me it's been really fun to see how other Mom's balance things. My circle is mainly SAHMs and most have nannies. I'm in the minority on Hellobee though so I think it's a good reminder to see all the variety in how we all parent and how different our lives are.

I think it makes me a more relaxed parent because I see so many other people going through the same thing that I am. Unlike before when my baby would cry.... I thought I was the only one with a fussy baby so I thought I had to be doing something wrong. Now I know it's normal and it doesn't reflect on my parenting.

Absolutely! Everything I do with LO is because of something I read on Hellobee. LO is still very young (7months) but I've got notes jotted down. I might not agree with certain things but those ideas help me continue learning.

Like I've said in the past, Hellobee has replaced Google.

Yes and no. Sometimes I am left wondering what people are thinking with the posts that I read, other times, I think to myself, "that's genuinely useful."

I learned tons. THANK YOU, BEES! The one that stands out right now is the articles about executive function, Tools of the Mind preschool, and how kids can start planning to help build brain function and self control very early on. Also I didn't realize it's so important to review your day and memories with the kiddo. I didn't realize memory starts so early.

Ditto! I'm pleasantly surprised by how much I've learned from everyone on this site. I'm not sure if it has really changed how I'm parenting but it's definitely honed my parenting techniques and is making me a better, more aware parent. I also love hearing about all the different parenting methods/theories out there.

And thanks to @ANBANAN15 (who recommended the GAPS diet), I may have found a way to help my LO with her (and my) allergies......which is priceless in my books.

I have been surprised by how much I've learned from Hellobee, and how much we've changed the way we parent our kids as a result!

I guess without this site, I wouldn't really be actively researching and reading about parenting... but because of it, I'm always reading about parenting. Bee and I are always talking about parenting too, which helps a lot.

Here are some of the ways it's changed the way we parent our kids:

* We learned about the importance of sensory play from Mrs. Hide & Seek, and Charlie now paints and does activities almost every day!
* I make a big effort to read a few books a day to Charlie. I didn't realize how early you could start reading to the kids!
* I am much more proactive about using discipline and positive parenting, after reading a number of books about it. I feel like we've turned a corner with Charlie and he's becoming less spoiled, and that definitely would not have happened without Hellobee.
* I am taking better care of Charlie's teeth, after being inspired by so many of you.

I'm sure there are even more things we've learned. Thank you to everyone on Hellobee for helping us raise our kids!!

Is Hellobee changing the way you parent your kids at all? If so, I'd love to hear more so I can steal those ideas for our kids too haha!
