Congrats! My LO was the same way and rarely slept completely on her back.

Our LO did this right away too. She sleeps on her side every night now. For the first couple weeks we just used rolled up blankets to prop her up and prevent her from rolling all the way over. Yo

Same thing happened with my son in May -- we brought him home from the hospital, and the first time we laid him down, he rolled onto his side. The pediatrician said it was fine, and just to
make sure there aren't loose blankets around and stuff. Congratulations!

Our lo loves to sleep on her side! I brought it up to the pediatrician and he said as long as she isn't on her belly, it's okay. Some babies just like their sides better, I guess. She has not rolled over onto her belly, just back to her back. I think she's adorable on her side. :-) She's been doing it since birth.

One of my nieces was completely flipping from her back to her stomach at a week old, both while sleeping and awake.

We literally just got back from the hospital (birth story on the way) and I've already got a question for you all. Our little girl is only 2 days old and she's managing to turn on her side while sleeping. I put her on her back and she's ending up on her side. Is this normal? Should I put barriers to stop it?

She also loves to tilt her head in an extreme side position (that I was planning to ask her doc about in 2 days) but in just a few hours she's full on turning to her side. She doesn't seem to have any problems breathing.
