My cousin started law school a month after she gave birth to her first child. She went on to have her second during law school. She passed the bar her first time too! Definitely takes a lot of hard work and gotta sacrifice quality time spent with your LO and DH.. but it's doable.

I'm interested to hear some of these responses. I've been very interested in some grad programs lately and I just don't know if they are possible although I have DH's support on the subject.

I'm wrapping up my MA this May, and another woman in my program had a baby this past July. She's managing, but will be graduating a few months late.

ETA - only reason she is graduating late is our internship hours required to graduate. She didn't have the time to do as many as we're required to do. she got all her classes done fine :)

There was a girl in my grad school program that was pregnant. She took a smaller course load because it was a pretty intense program.

I will be! I will go back to work hopefully a few months after baby but continue to work on my MA pt, mainly my thesis. I recently stopped working and am attending school FT right now and until the baby arrives in September. I know others have done it and I have actually heard it's easier to go to school FT with a baby then work, if you have the income regardless. If not it's up to budgeting, but people do it all the time!

Out of curiousity, is it possible to have a baby and go to school? I have about 5 years of school left but DH wants to have a baby within the next 1-2 years. Has anyone gone to college while being a parent? Another concern we have it that we are moving about 3 hours away from family in a few months so we will have nobody around us.
