Once they start solids their poop gets really gross. She didn't really catch on until about 6 months when we started introducing purees.</p> <p>With DS, we're trying to hold out until 6 months, and then we're going to skip the rice cereal all together. She pretty much spit all of it out. I think she just didn't understand how to swallow yet, it's a new thing for them and they have to get used to it and learn how. I've tried it a handful of times now but she seems to really dislike it. She'll tolerate it, but she makes a yucky face after each bite, and winds up spitting about half of it out and turning her head away from the spoon. Does this mean she's not ready for solids, or could it just be she doesn't like the taste? </p>
