I'm cheap, so probably not, but the hubby is tall and I'm sure I'd love to pass the baby off to him once in awhile and he'd prefer more legroom, so maybe? That was the most flip floppy answer ever! ha! Maybe I'll just pay the $10 extra to pick a row with more legroom instead! Cheaper and winning!

For us it wasn't worth it at all. For the flight out (just me and my LO), there were a lot of empty seats on the plane so I ended up moving a few rows back and got an entire row for just myself and LO. On the way home we took a redeye. For some stupid reason they like to play a movie, serve drinks and snacks, and sell stuff when people are obviously wanting to sleep. Sitting in the bulkhead seat sucked because it was super bright (because of the tv) and our LO had trouble sleeping. Plus you can't but your carryon on the floor or under your seat.

Bulkhead seats also seem to sell out too...so chances are you won't have an empty seat next to you even if the plane isn't full.

if i have the option, i usually go for it because i'll do anything to make traveling a little easier. olive was nursing when we last flew so she was pretty easy to settle on the plane even when we didn't have bulkhead seats. i think charlie would have been a little tougher at that age since he was much more mobile. being able to play on the floor really keeps them entertained for a long time!

Absolutely, if you're tall. I can't even move in a normal seats. My knees are jammed against the seat in front of me, and the person there--always someone short or a kid it seems--always puts their seat back so it's right in my face. It's awful. Bulkhead = always worth it. Traveling with a child, I'd imagine even more worth it. I don't know how I'd deal with that AND not being able to move.

No, not worth that much money.

We just finished four 2-3 hour flights with a 9 month old. We got bulkhead seats once. Yes, the extra space was nice, but not worth that much money. Plus all of your bags have to be stored above, which turned out to be a bigger pain in the long run for us.

It's an extra $46 one-way for preferred seats, such as the bulkhead seats. LO will be 9 months old when we travel back home. It is a 3.5-4 hour flight. Would you fork over the extra cash?
