@PrincessBaby: hahaha! Yeah, Lo pooped like every feeding for the first 6-8 wks I think, and had like a pertpetual diaper rash--which made me so sad to see his little newborn tush all red! but now it's back to being perfectly fine and delicious looking (is it weird that when i see his tush I just want to bite it?).

@hilsy85: Ok thank you! She had 2 days (Th & Fri) where she literally had like 5 poopy diapers each day (she nursed a lot those days).. Fri night I noticed the redness... But she's went back to her norm of 2 or 3 a day now...Plus her sharts, lol. There is often a tiny skid mark in her diaper, lol.

Our pedi told us that it should be thick, because that way the poop and pee don't come into contact with the skin. Is she pooping really often still? Lo's tush was often red, despite using diaper cream, until he stopped pooping so often.

C has had trouble with diaper rash, especially during times of frequent nursing. We do a layer of Aquafor and then a layer of Burt's Bees diaper cream on top as advised by our pediatrician. Clears it up right away! We do it for every diaper change. Our daycare usually changes diapers every hour but when her rash came on they opted to change her every 30 mins. Glad they provide all the diapers lol.

My sons butthole is always red. It has never bothered him so we don't put anything on it.

A couple of days ago I noticed that H's little booty had a red spot right where she poops and it was also a little red in her "folds." I was very diligent before about changing her diaper at the first sign it needed it, and also put Triple Paste on her before letting her go down to STTN, so I was sad this happened! I put Triple Paste on during every change the past couple of days, and the folds are no longer pink, but her little rectum still is. I'm a very liberal Triple Paste applyer...Am I using too much? I'm really shocked that her bum is still a little red- I mean it was very minor and it's been a couple of days! I'm racking my brain here:)
