I tried him at 4 months with the infant insert and it wasn't great. Much better doing the splits. I found if I took the cushion out of the insert and used it under her bottom she fit much better. She is only 24 inches long, so only her feet and and two inches or so of ankle hang out the side. It looks extremely uncomfortable. Is she too small? </p>
