@autumnlove: good! If your doc isn't worried, then I'd just let her follow her own trajectory in eating. Even normally kiddos have good eating days and bad eating days (at least mine sure does!) she's been through a lot this week (as have you!!), it will take her some time to bounce back. I'd just keep offering, you are doing a great job!

I know when C is picky, yogurt, cottage cheese and applesauce are my go-to's.

@lemondrop: I talked to her Dr. yest and she wasn't too concerned about vomiting and decreased appetite. She is more concerned about new bruising, fevers and petechaie though.

She told me to relax about food...I'm having a hard time!

Anytime C (or the dog for that matter) has digestive issues, I go for the BRAT diet (bananas, rice, applesauce, toast). Things that are relatively soothing.

What is your pediatrician's take on the vomiting after her illness? Glad she's happy and active though!

Poor little girl!! As long as she's still got energy I wouldn't worry too much. Just try to keep her hydrated. Maybe try some broth?

She is sick but I'm so worried...a few crackers, banana sorbet, milk and a squash purée since Wednesday. She ate some cheese and chicken yesterday and she threw up a lot.

She is happy and active...I guess she will eat when she is ready?!
