@NovBaby1112: she has a tooth poking out & is a little on the slobbery side for her. But her solid food intake seems the same, it's just her nursing sessions. Her night wake up takes me less than ten minutes from the moment I hear her cry, give myself a moment to wake up, get drink, go to the bathroom, nurse her, sing her her song & lay her back down....I don't know if that means she is just waking out of habit or is super efficient. I'm not ready to stop offering, I think she still needs it. Nursing has now just become less cuddly & more aggravating for us both.

my LO self weaned at an early age (10.5 months) after being a total boob addict before that. She started refusing once she came down with a cold, and basically didn't ever want to latch on again :/ I tried everything for a good month or so- tried when she was sleepy, hungry, not hungry, when she just woke up, while she was watching tv, etc. Your situation sounds different though because she is still nursing 2x a day it seems? Maybe she is just ready to drop some sessions and eat more food? Is she teething or sick at all? I read 10-11 months is on the early side to self wean, but I guess it is also a common time that babies will wean.

LO will be 11 months old on the 12th. We did/do baby led weaning & she has been having 3 meals a day plus two snacks since about 8 months old. In the past month I have gotten all feedings, except her 430 am wake up, to either happen directly before or directly after her regular food (this usually depends on how "hangry" she is.) Within the past month we have entirely dropped her dinner session. Within the past week and a half, LO has seemed nearly entirely uninterested in nursing except at her 430 wake up & her wake up for the day. She will pop off every minute or so to talk or more recently, scream loudly in anger at me but she also gets angry when she sees me put my boob away, but she gets over it quickly. Even if I feel like she is asking to nurse, it doesn't really come to fruition. I've tried nursing before her meals & I still get the same basic reacting *most* of the time. Could she already be done? :bummed:
