Periodically this happens on our Apple TV. Resetting it usually fixes the issue. Hope it keeps working for you!

Our internet has been on the fritz so Netflix has been touchy, too. Bad timing with a sick kid at home!

So I had my husband reset our router last night and (knock on wood) so far it is working during nap time today. Yayyyyy! It's a little sad how angry I get when netflix isn't working during nap time :)

@Mae: Ours wasn't working for over a week, whenever we would try Netflix it would go to a black screen. But our tv had an update and now its fine. I watched Netflix yesterday (I was home sick for most of the day) and it was fine. No stopping in the middle of shows, that sounds incredibly frustrating! I hope yours clears up soon!

Are you running Netflix through a Blu-ray? We had a Comcast guy out to fix something else but have been having a hell of a time with Amazon streaming and Netflix recently (only for the show Jessica Jones) and he said in his opinion, what he's found are that the wifi receivers (maybe incorrect technical term) in blue-ray players are cheap and crappy, so even if you have great wifi you won't always get a good signal. He suggested plugging it straight into the router, which apparently he does.

Doing that solved our Netflix issues (which were that everything would play but on the show Jessica Jones it would crap out with 3 minutes left EVERY SINGLE EPISODE and we would have to wait, restart the episode, fast forward, etc. to see the end).

We have a brand new Blu-ray, so it wasn't the machine (or, shouldn't be).

Otherwise our Netflix has been working 100% fine and LO's watches it every day.

@T.H.O.U.: No, but our internet seems to be fine. I've been streaming other videos with no issue. But I guess worth a try.

All week long our netflix hasn't really been working. Shows will start but every 2-5 minutes we get an error that says "We're having trouble playing this title right now. Please try again later or select a different title." Like... 10 times to get through a 40 minute show. Really annoying since netflix is most of what we watch!

I thought maybe it was our TV but we just ran updates and everything on it and it is still happening. Wondering if netflix as a whole is just sucking right now for some reason?
