Can you try moving the clip a little higher toward your neck?

I'm 5'0 and loved the ergo.

@winniebee: I love my Becco Gemini, I've used it through my second and third, it fits me perfectly, I'm super short (not quite 4'11").

i'm not petite but I hate straps falling to the side -- love the cross strap function on my beco!

Have you looked at a Tula? I loved my Ergo with DS, but DD hated it (and every carry), but loved our WC Tula when I finally took the leap to get one. HUGE difference over the Ergo and much more comfortable. It fits baby longer as well and I think it has a much more customizable fit because you can adjust the straps at two different places.

Yes! I'm 4'11 and based on recs here, I bought the Beco. It saved my back and my babywearing experience. It isn't as cumbersome as most carriers and beautiful to wear. I always cross the straps and it's so easy!! Takes me 5 minutes in the car.

The original ergo is too tall, the 360 is too cumbersome with too much material (I've tried both on and hated them). The Beco is just right!

I'm not tiny, but I love that you can cross the straps on the gemini. It makes it feel a lot more narrow on my shoulders, which feels more comfortable and secure to me. It did feel less bulky than the ergo I tried.

Not a baby wearing expert, but I have found the Beco to be extremely versatile! I thought I would use the k'tan but I had a similar problem with the shoulders falling off (even with an XS). We have a Beco Gemini and my DH (6' / 160lbs), our nanny (she's tiny - maybe 5'2" and 100lbs!), and I (5'7" / 120 / very narrow shoulders) all use it comfortably! It's super easy to adjust between people as well.

Friends gifted us an Ergo for #2 and I thought I would love it but just don't! It's comfortable once it is on....but I can't reach the clip in the back. And the straps are made for shoulders much wider than mine and fall off. I'm considering getting a Beco instead and selling the Ergo.

Can any baby wearing experts out there weigh in?
