We have the handle one. Honestly, I don't like it at all. The straw is just one piece (no separate valve that comes off) and if you tighten it too tight, the liquid just comes up. Like I leave the cup sitting on the counter and there is a puddle of milk around.

We like the insulated ones too, and the straw and valve is a bit better but we do still sometimes have leaks. If picking a straw cup, the quality of the insulated ones are much better (the cup, straw, and valve) and I would go with these.

We have both and the one with the handle is squeezable, the other one is not. We got the handle one first and once he got the hang of a straw we got the other one in a bigger size. Hopefully you can follow that, I'm pretty tired!

Between this:
http://www.amazon.com/Playtex-Gripper-Twist-Click-Colors/dp/B001OAKMEO/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1372825984&sr=8-4&keywords=playtex+little+gripper

and this:
http://www.amazon.com/Playtex-First-Gripper-Trainer-Colors/dp/B004E2H3PA/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1372825984&sr=8-1&keywords=playtex+little+gripper

? Besides the handle?

We're still currently trying these: http://www.amazon.com/Nuby-2-Pack-No-Spill-Flexi-Colors/dp/B003N49ML8/ref=sr_1_5?s=baby-products&ie=UTF8&qid=1372826128&sr=1-5&keywords=nuby+sippy+cup
to no avail. Lo just chews on any sippy cup, spout or straw! Hoping the playtex ones might work because you can squeeze them to make juice/water/whatever come out...
